Shireland CBSO Academy is an 11‑18 Academy which opened in September 2023. It is the first state school in the country to partner with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) and serves all of Sandwell and the wider West Midlands. The academy welcomes students who have a passion or talent for music, even if they do not already play an instrument.

Work with individuals and small groups to raise attainment and improve behaviour, supporting student development through the CBSO partnership.
