Bolton 0-19/25's Children's Integrated Health and Wellbeing Service are looking for passionate individuals to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Specialist Community Public Health Nurse - School Nurse. We welcome applications from qualified, SCPHN school nurse, who may be looking for a change of location and a new challenge. Current student SCPHN school nurses are also welcome to apply.
As a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, you will have excellent communication skills and a broad knowledge of working in the community with children and their wider family. You will be a solution focused team player who will support the delivery of the universal offer in a 0-19 integrated neighbourhood team. You will manage a universal plus and partnership plus caseload, working collaboratively with other agencies to ensure protection and the best health outcomes for children and families in Bolton.

Applicants need to hold a SCPHN school nurse qualification or this qualification is pending. Specialist community public health school nurses work as autonomous practitioners in Bolton and as part of the integrated 0-19/25 neighbourhood teams and lead on the delivery of The Healthy Child Programme, providing every child with a schedule of health and development reviews, health promotion, screening, and support for parents, carers, children and young people tailored to their needs.
