An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Consultant in the Diabetes and Endocrinology service in Bolton. The role involves working as part of a team responsible for assessing and treating patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, including the diabetes antenatal lead role.
This service brings together Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Dietitians, Podiatrists and Clinical Health Psychology to provide safe, effective and efficient care for patients, relatives and carers.

Person Specification
- Essential Qualifications & Professional Registration: Basic Medical Qualification, M.R.C.P., GMC registered, On the specialist register in General Medicine, Diabetes & Endocrinology or on the register by the time of taking up appointment.
- Desirable: MD or PhD.
- Essential Experience: Specialist Register in Diabetes and endocrinology or within six months of entry at time of application, Significant experience of Acute Medicine, Participation in Clinical Audit, Research experience and Publications.
- Essential Membership: Membership of Association of Clinical Diabetologists.
