Shire Healthcare are working with a leading provider of specialist care and education recruiting for a Psychotherapist to be based in a specialist School in Oxfordshire.

About the employer: This employer is an independent leading provider of specialist care and education. They work with children and young people in either an educational and/or residential setting who present a complexity of needs including developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions and special educational needs.

Role snapshot: The candidate appointed will be joining a multi-disciplinary team, working within a specialist learning centre, delivering assessments, clinical formulation, and therapeutic interventions for children/young people with complex needs. You will also formulate personalised care plans, build rapport and deliver feedback on progress. You will support both educational and residential colleagues to ensure children are engaged and also deliver training, workshops and consultation.

Contract type – permanent (52 week working)

Hours – 3 days per week

Salary - £39,102 FTE - £46,926 FTE

Experience required: All Psychological Therapy professionals will hold registration or accreditation with the relevant governing body and experience working with young people with complex needs/neurodevelopmental conditions/needs such as SEMH and autism.
