Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Principal or Consultant Psychologist to work within a specialist CYP residential service in and around Manchester.
About the employer:
This employer provides specialist residential placements for young people offering intensive and individualized community care.
About the role:
The candidate appointed will oversee all Psychologists and assistant Psychologists within the service (x5 staff currently). The post holder will also provide psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions for service users who present with severe and enduring mental health conditions including complex trauma, autism and/or learning disabilities.
- Contract type – permanent
- Hours – 3 – 5 days per week can be considered
- Salary - up to £101,600 FTE
Experience required:
Candidates applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist along with previous managing staff and clinical experience working in CAMHS, LAC or CYP residential services. Due to the nature of the role, a car owner/driver is mandatory.
