Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC registered Psychologist to join a specialist trauma informed CYP service for a Care and Education service provider.
Hybrid role, car‑driver mandatory
Site visits within a 90 minute radius in and around Peterborough.
Role snapshot: The candidate appointed will be working with children and young people who have complex emotional and behavioural needs and may display challenging behaviours. The post holder will provide reflective and supportive therapeutic practice within children’s homes across Peterborough. This will include consultation, assessment, formulation and therapy planning, including direct work with young people.
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 3 days per week (flexible on which working days these are)
Experience required: Clinical, Counselling, Educational and Forensic Psychologists applying will hold HCPC registration and previous experience working with LAC/CYP residential services, trauma informed service or have previously worked in a forensic service.
