Shire Healthcare are recruiting for an Addiction Therapist to work within a specialist rehabilitation service within 1 hour of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Role snapshot:
- The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT, who work for a family run business, supporting service users with addiction in a rehabilitation setting.
- The post holder will conduct biopsychosocial admissions assessments, facilitate 121, group and family therapy.
- The post holder will have the opportunity to develop in additional specialisms such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, eating disorders and gambling addiction.
Contract type: permanent
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends on a rotational basis
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 FTE
Experience required:
- Psychotherapists applying will have previous experience working within addiction services along with registration with an accrediting body, such as AP NCAC, UKCP, HCPC, COSCA, BACP, BABCP. Working towards accreditation is required.
