Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC reg. Psychologist to work within a specialist trauma informed CYP service for a Care and Education service provider.
Role snapshot:
- The candidate appointed will be working with children and young people who have complex emotional and behavioural needs and may display challenging behaviours.
- The post holder will provide reflective and supportive therapeutic practice within children's homes across South Wales. This will include consultation, assessment, formulation and therapy planning, including direct work with young people.
- This role is working from home (50/50), with site visits within a 90 minute radius in and around South Wales.
- Contract type – permanent
- Hours – 3 – 5 days per week will be considered.
- Salary - £45,000 - £63,000 FTE
Experience required:
- Clinical, Counselling, Educational and Forensic Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration and previous experience working with LAC/CYP residential services, trauma informed service or have worked in a forensic service.
- Due to the nature of the role a car owner/driver is mandatory.
