Job description:

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for an Educational Psychologist to work with children and young people presenting with SEMH in a range of schools, across Birmingham.

*Work from home with travel required, car driver mandatory*

About the employer:

The successful candidate will be joining a leading provider of therapeutic care and education for children and young people who present with severe emotional and behavioural needs. This can include trauma, neurodiversity, eating disorders, offending behaviour, sexual exploitation and harmful behaviour.

Role snapshot:

The post holder will be working from home and where required will be travelling to services. The successful candidate will provide reflective and supportive therapeutic practice within educational settings, including assessment, formulation and intervention work.

Contract Type – permanent

Hours – Part time, 3 days per week

Salary – £45,000 – £63,000 FTE DOE

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist and experience working with children and young people with complex emotional, behavioural/ neurodiverse needs either during doctoral training or post qualifying. We encourage newly HCPC registered Psychologists to apply!
