Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC registered Psychologist to work within a specialist school based in the West Midlands on a part-time basis. There is an option for a full-time role across 2 schools (25 minutes between schools).
The candidate will be working for an employer who has clinical services within educational and care settings for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. The successful candidate will be joining a school-based therapy team who work with children ages 7-19 with ASD, ADHD and/or SEMH needs.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with school staff to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for the service users. You will provide consultation, deliver workshops and training to the educational and residential teams around our children.
Responsibilities:- Work with school staff to deliver bespoke assessments and intervention plans for children and young people with SEND.
- Provide consultation to educational and residential teams around children’s needs.
- Deliver workshops and training related to psychological services.
- Clinical Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration.
- Experience working with young people with complex needs, SEMH or Autism.
