Location: Northwich, Cheshire
Salary: Up to £39,078 per annum (inclusive of sleeps)
Hours: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)
We are working in partnership with a provider of children’s services to recruit a Residential Children’s Worker for their home in Northwich. You will be part of a dedicated team supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) within a nurturing residential environment.

What we’re looking for:
* Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Aged 21+ (for insurance purposes)
* Experience supporting children with EBD and/or learning disabilities
* Full UK driving licence (desirable, not essential)
* Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual needs
* Encourage and support children to maintain family and friendship links
* Promote integration with the local community through clubs and activities
* Support children with all aspects of daily living
* Safeguard and protect vulnerable children, reporting concerns appropriately
* Participate in continuous professional development and training
* Be willing to provide cover at other homes where required
* Work in partnership with parents, carers, and professionals
