Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Head of Clinical Services (accredited Psychotherapist or HCPC registered Psychologist) to work for a reputable specialist charity for survivors of Torture, based in Glasgow.
Role snapshot
Reporting to the Associate Director of Clinical Services, the post holder will lead and manage a service in Glasgow with a team of Psychologists, care coordinators, a centre coordinator, clinical administrators and a legal and welfare team. The post holder will drive innovation of the centre, piloting new models of rehabilitation provision for survivors of torture within NICE guidelines. The role includes designing, piloting and developing policies, income generation/secure grants, and managing and leading the clinical team.

- Contract type β permanent
- Hours β 32 hours per week
- Salary β Β£68,735 FTE with annual salary reviews and the opportunity to move up the scale reaching Β£79,732 FTE
Experience required
- Psychologists applying will be HCPC registered and Psychotherapists applying will have BABCP or BACP accreditation
- Extensive experience working with complex PTSD
- Experience working with refugees and people seeking asylum
- Experience of leading and managing clinical teams within a community or healthcare setting
- The ability to work innovatively
