Educational Psychologist - schools

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for an *Educational* *Psychologist* to work with children and young people presenting with *SEMH *in a range of schools, across *Peterborough *and *Cambridge*.

*About the employer:*
The successful candidate will be joining a leading provider of *therapeutic care* and *education* for children and young people who present with severe *emotional* and *behavioural* needs. This can include trauma, neurodiversity, eating disorders, offending behaviour, sexual exploitation and harmful behaviour.
*Role snapshot:*
The post holder will be *working from home* and where required will be travelling to services. The successful candidate will provide reflective and supportive therapeutic practice within educational settings, including assessment, formulation and intervention work.
*Contract Type – *permanent
*Hours* – Part time, 2.5 days per week
*Salary* – £45,000 – £63,000 FTE DOE
*Experience required:*
Candidates applying will have *HCPC* registration as an *Educational Psychologist* and experience working with *children* and *young* *people* with complex emotional, behavioural/ neurodiverse needs either during doctoral training or post qualifying. We encourage newly HCPC registered Psychologists to apply!
