The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

We are currently working with a Nursery in Wallingford to recruit a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse to join them on a permanent basis. This 60-place Nursery is open 51 weeks a year and operates from 07:30 to 18:00.

The right candidate will have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification, and 12 months of experience would be an advantage, although not necessary as full training will be provided. This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week over 4 days, giving you a day off each week. Nursery Nurse Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Viewing planning sheets and record keeping of all staff in your room
  • Ensuring routines are followed and run smoothly
  • Implementing new decisions in the room at all times
  • Following all policies and procedures
  • Being an excellent role model to other staff in your room

Nursery Nurse Requirements:

  • Experience providing play and learning opportunities for children
  • Good interpersonal skills, organized and efficient
  • Ability to support trainees through mentoring and coaching
  • Acting as Key-worker and observing children
  • Knowledge of the Children’s Act
  • Experience working with toddlers or preschool children
  • Good communication skills with children and parents
  • Ability to interact well with children and use initiative
  • Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and the EYFS
