We currently have a Lead Nursery Nurse role available in the London SE6 area for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse or Room Leader. The nursery accommodates over 70 children. As a Lead Nursery Nurse, your responsibilities include working closely with senior staff, overseeing staff training, and ensuring compliance with EYFS regulations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
- At least 12 months experience as a Senior Nursery Nurse or Room Leader
Room Leader Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing planning sheets and record keeping
- Ensuring routines are followed and run smoothly
- Implementing decisions within the room
- Ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to
- Serving as a role model to staff
Skills and Qualifications:
- Level 3 (or above) Childcare Qualification
- Relevant childcare qualifications per OFSTED guidelines
- Knowledge of legislation including EYFS
- Empathetic, caring, and friendly demeanor
- Supervisory and coaching experience
