We currently have a Lead Nursery Nurse role available in the London SE6 area for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse or Room Leader. The nursery accommodates over 70 children. As a Lead Nursery Nurse, your responsibilities include working closely with senior staff, overseeing staff training, and ensuring compliance with EYFS regulations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • At least 12 months experience as a Senior Nursery Nurse or Room Leader

Room Leader Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing planning sheets and record keeping
  • Ensuring routines are followed and run smoothly
  • Implementing decisions within the room
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Serving as a role model to staff

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Level 3 (or above) Childcare Qualification
  • Relevant childcare qualifications per OFSTED guidelines
  • Knowledge of legislation including EYFS
  • Empathetic, caring, and friendly demeanor
  • Supervisory and coaching experience
