The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
We currently have a Lead Nursery Nurse role in London SE6 area for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse or Room Leader. The Nursery has capacity for over 70 children. As Lead Nursery Role your role would be to work closely with the other Senior members of staff and to oversee the training of new staff members and trainees to give them better understanding of working in the Nursery and to work within the EYFS regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review planning sheets and maintain records for staff; ensure routines are followed and run smoothly.
- Ensure new decisions are taken on board and maintained in the room at all times.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed by all staff.
- Be an excellent role model to the other staff in your room.
Qualifications
- Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Childcare Qualification.
- Relevant childcare qualifications in accordance with OFSTED guidelines.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including EYFS.
- Empathetic, caring and friendly.
- Proven supervisory and coaching experience.
