As a member of the ShipBob team, you will help grow the business with an ownership mindset, collaborate with peers and leaders at all levels, and experience a high‑performance culture that prioritises clear goals and accountability. Location Hybrid – United Kingdom with 40% travel.
This position plays a critical role in monitoring inventory activities at partner ShipBob Fulfillment Network (SFN) centers, leading the Operations Support Specialist team for a region. You will be within a short driving distance to local partner sites, reporting to the Senior Manager, SFN Quality.
Responsibilities- Perform training, mentoring, and monitoring of metrics for direct reports.
- Communicate updates and relay operational information to team members and partners in weekly Business Review meetings.
- Lead root‑cause analysis of inventory adjustments and support the region’s on‑site specialists.
- Identify and communicate inventory practice concerns, opportunities for improvement, and issues to the Senior Regional Manager.
- Provide support coverage and/or ICQA training at fulfillment centers as needed.
- Ensure timely resolution of inventory variances to enable outbound order fulfillment.
- Meet all SLA requirements for Jira tickets and other ICQA metric goals.
- Present ICQA data through weekly business reviews to partner sites.
- Travel to partner SFN sites within the region to support ICQA functions.
- Comply with all food safety and compliance policies and regulations.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions and solve problems immediately.
- Leadership experience to help meet set goals.
- Ability to identify inventory discrepancies, conduct physical inventory cycle counts, and reconcile variances.
- Independent work capability with minimal supervision.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and strong reading comprehension.
- Strong multitasking ability with the capacity to handle multiple issues simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift 40 lbs without health limitations.
- Capacity to stand and walk continuously for 8–10 hour shifts.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and frequently push or pull objects.
