We are looking for an experienced mobile crane operator to join an existing team based out of Newcastle. Applicants must have a positive attitude with the ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues, clients and contractors. Must be hardworking, reliable and take pride in their work.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Drive Mobile Crane to/from site of works
  • Safely & efficiently operate a Mobile Crane to lift various loads to designated locations
  • Loading & unloading by using appropriate equipment & techniques
  • Interpret lifting plan illustrations precisely
  • Follow pre-planned & authorised routes for Abnormal Loads
  • Follow Risk Assessment & Method Statement information accurately
  • Follow instructions to ensure timely and accurate lifting operations
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical defects/issues & perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations & Company policies while operating any company vehicle
  • Maintain consistently accurate 'real time' records of vehicle maintenance & defects, deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, Personal Time Sheet, Customer Job Sheets, reading of Driver Cards & any other relevant info as required

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Valid CPC card
  • HGV licence
  • Mobile Crane Operator
  • Proven experience HGV driving
  • Safety regulations/procedures knowledge for commercial vehicles
  • Follow health & safety protocols to prevent accidents
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
