Fancy working for an award winning business? Do you want to work in a kitchen that creates innovative and delicious food you can be proud of? Well, here at the Liberation Group, we pride ourselves in giving our chefs the freedom to create awesome, seasonal dishes whilst providing an industry leading and award winning environment to get your cook on! We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Porter to join the family.
The Ship & Crown is a "proper" traditional pub offering a great range of Cask Ales, Lagers and Craft Beers. Choose one that’s locally brewed in the Channel Islands or one from a bit further afield and on a hot day your best choice is probably the local Guernsey Rocquette’s cider. If you’re hungry we serve good, honest pub food including time‑honoured bar meals! If you want a more formal place to eat, then above the pub is the aptly named Crow’s Nest with panoramic views across the harbour. If it’s sporting action you’re looking for then you’ll find more sporting action than you can "shake a stick at" at the Ship & Crown, with all major live sports events being shown.
You will be:
- A Team Player. The brigade is a close knit bunch and you will be someone who helps raise the spirits of your team.

- Passionate. Everything we do is from the heart and we genuinely get a buzz from seeing our customers enjoy themselves. You will love food and play a part in making sure everything we serve is made with love!
- Yourself. We are an eclectic bunch and want individuals not robots.
- Ambitious. We run an industry leading training scheme and love a bit of internal promotion! Are you a Head Chef of the future? If so, we will help and support you on your journey.
