We're looking for a General Manager for the Ship Inn, East Grinstead. This community high street pub has an array of bookable spaces for events and celebrations, which also include its modern wrap-around beer garden.
The ideal candidate has experience running a similar style of business, and has plenty of creativity to mould the offer and drive sales - creating more reasons to visit and increasing that connection with the local community. There are lots of opportunities to grow sales through becoming the social hub of the community.
We believe pubs should be differentiated and individual, and so we are looking for entrepreneurial General Managers to put their own stamp on our businesses. We're all about freedom within a framework - you decide what goes on the food menu, tailoring your offer to your guests and growing the business in line with your vision. You will decide what events and sales driving to do, what the team uniform is, and look after all your own recruitment and marketing.
