We're getting ready to open the doors to Elysium St Mawes, our beautiful new hotel in one of Cornwall's most stunning coastal locations, and we're looking for enthusiastic, hands‑on Team Supervisors to help lead our guest experience team!

The Role
As a Team Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of hotel life, leading and supporting our team of Hosts across Reception, Bar and Restaurant.
This is a varied, hands‑on role where you'll lead by example, working alongside your team to create warm, personal and memorable experiences for every guest.
From welcoming guests at Reception to overseeing a busy restaurant service or supporting the bar team, you'll help everything run seamlessly while inspiring your colleagues to deliver the very best of Elysium hospitality.
Most importantly, you'll help create a positive, supportive environment where everyone feels valued, confident and proud of what they do.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, motivating and supporting our Hosts across Reception, Bar and Restaurant.
- Being visible and hands‑on, working alongside the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Overseeing daily operations and ensuring service runs smoothly across all guest‑facing areas.
- Coaching and developing Hosts, helping them build confidence and skills across different departments.
- Anticipating guest needs and encouraging those special little touches that make a stay memorable.
- Handling guest enquiries, feedback and complaints with warmth and professionalism.
- Leading shift briefings, allocating responsibilities and ensuring effective communication.
- Working closely with the Kitchen, Housekeeping, Spa and Maintenance teams.
- Maintaining excellent standards of service, cleanliness and presentation.
- Supporting the Operations Manager in creating a happy, engaged and high‑performing team.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys bringing out the best in people and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves!
You'll be someone who:
- Has previous hospitality experience, ideally with some supervisory or team leadership responsibility.
- Naturally leads by example and inspires those around them.
- Has a warm, friendly and confident personality.
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Enjoys variety and is comfortable working across Reception, Bar and Restaurant.
- Is organised, proactive and calm under pressure.
- Loves coaching and encouraging others to succeed.
- Brings positivity, energy and a genuine sense of fun to work.
Experience in both Front of House and Food & Beverage would be fantastic, but we're equally interested in talented hospitality supervisors who are keen to broaden their skills and develop their careers.
