About the Role In this role, you will be at the heart of our global medical affairs operations, driving projects forward, coordinating actions across regions, and ensuring that every initiative runs smoothly and efficiently. As the Global Medical Affairs Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage and track budgets using new systems, interacting with different regions and adapting to various regional finance processes.
  • Collaborate with the global medical affairs team to ensure seamless project execution across regions and therapy areas.
  • Take ownership of operational tasks, relieving workload from scientific and medical staff, and ensuring follow‑up on key actions.
  • Coordinate and deliver key projects, including but not limited to medical education, advisory boards, congress activities, and internal initiatives.
  • Organise and facilitate meetings, prepare materials, track action items, and ensure timely follow‑up.
  • Maintain documentation, trackers, and SharePoint content, and provide administrative support as needed.
  • Act proactively to identify issues, suggest solutions, and keep operations running smoothly.

  • Experience of project management or operations roles within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within Medical Affairs.

  • Ideally a scientific background or a strong interest in medical affairs.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to interact with all stakeholders, including senior, to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
  • Proactive, organised, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with colleagues across regions and disciplines.
  • Enthusiasm, adaptability, and a willingness to take on increasing responsibility and autonomy over time.
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken business English.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing needs.
