We are seeking several Apprentice Early Years Educators to join our busy nurseries. Successful candidates will be based at one of two settings within Halifax.
What You'll Do
- Work towards your childcare qualification through training on and off the job within the nursery, with coaching and mentoring from the training coordinator.
- Learn the essential knowledge, skills and behaviours required to become a qualified Early Years Professional across three nursery rooms: babies (0-2 years), toddlers (2-3 years) and preschool (3-5 years).
- Ensure high‑quality early learning and play services are provided to children and young people.
- Keep abreast of legislation, guidelines and policies to ensure Early Years Foundation Stage requirements are met at all times.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with parents/carers to support children’s learning and development.
- Plan and provide safe, appropriate, child‑led and adult‑initiated experiences, activities and play opportunities indoors, outdoors and in out‑of‑setting contexts.
- Create a caring and stimulating environment that takes into account individual developmental needs and enables children to reach their full potential.
- Promote parents’ understanding of child development and early learning as crucial to their children’s future success.
