Job Description
We are currently seeking reliable and hard working Warehouse Operatives (Picker/Packers) to join our team working in a chilled warehouse environment. This is THREE days in the week and ONE day of a weekend β TWELVE hour shifts (four days a week), ideal for individuals looking to earn a competitive rate.
As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing chilled goods for dispatch, maintaining quality standards and health & safety regulations at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack chilled products accurately according to order sheets
- Work efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Ensure correct labelling and packaging of products
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your work area
- Adhere to all health & safety and food hygiene regulations
- Report any issues or discrepancies to a supervisor promptly
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience preferred
- Experience with handheld scanners, LLOP and pump trucks
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment
- Numeracy and literacy skills important
- Able to work 12-hour shifts β days and nights β 7AM -7PM OR 6PM-6AM
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet throughout the shift
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
