A lovingly restored Grade II listed Georgian manor house on a 500-acre estate in the Devon countryside, with uninterrupted views of the rolling hills and fields, acres of gardens, farmland and woodland, and walks to explore.

Just outside the charming village of Modbury Shilstone is a place for people to come together with great company, and enjoy delicious food and drinks in a wonderful setting.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Shilstone House. Your main responsibility is to ensure that guests have an enjoyable experience. You will deliver excellent service from initial greeting, taking orders, making recommendations, to the paying of the bill.
What we are looking for in a Waiter/Waitress
- 1-2 yearsβ experience in a busy restaurant (preferred but not essential)
- Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
- Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
- Sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Have a genuine passion for food and beverage
- Reliable transport to Shilstone is necessary as there is no public transport.
Expected working hours for a Waiter/Waitress
- Every Sunday from 10 β 5pm, no evenings.
- Competitive hourly rate (dependant on age and experience) with tips.
