The Role
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene of all public spaces within our venue. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is proactive, and ensures all areas are kept to the highest standard for our guests and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all public areas including entrances, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, offices and event spaces.
- Regularly check and replenish supplies in restrooms and other public spaces.
- Monitor cleanliness and appearance of all public areas and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Empty bins and manage waste in accordance with venue procedures.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and products are used safely and stored correctly.
- Assist with setting up and clearing down public spaces for events as needed.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
