The Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our in-house team. The role involves the daily operation of laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and uniforms, ensuring everything is cleaned to a high standard and well presented for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items including linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or excessive wear and report as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area at all times.
- Track inventory levels of linens and laundry supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.
- Follow proper laundry procedures and handling guidelines, including any specific care instructions.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Requirements
Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is helpful but not essential—training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
