The Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious
Technical Sales Manager to play a key role in driving the next stage of our client’s growth.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic sales plans and building long-term customer relationships across the car parking technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth objectives.
- Build, manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive business development.
- Ensure all sales activities align with the company's commercial objectives.
- Use CRM systems to manage opportunities, analyse sales performance and identify market trends.
- Maintain accurate pipeline information, forecasts and customer records.
- Work closely with external marketing partners to support targeted lead generation campaigns.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline reports and performance updates to the Managing Director.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close new business opportunities.
- Manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service.
About You
We're looking for an experienced sales professional who combines commercial awareness with excellent relationship-building skills.
You'll ideally have
- A proven track record in technical or solution-based B2B sales.
- Experience developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
- Strong forecasting and pipeline management experience.
- Confidence using CRM systems to manage opportunities and analyse sales data.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong focus on delivering results.
- Industry Experience
- Experience within one or more of the following sectors would be highly advantageous:
- Parking technology
- Parking management
- Automated payment systems
- Parking applications and software
- Machine or equipment manufacturing
- Smart mobility
- Retail property or shopping centre solutions
Knowledge of organisations operating within these markets, including parking operators, parking technology providers, payment platforms or shopping centre operators, would be particularly beneficial.
