Job Description Electrically biased Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, Sheffield, days only We are recruiting for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing client's facilities and equipment. Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and provide timely repairs. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and best practices. Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment; Monitor and improve equipment performance using KPIs such as MTTR (Mean time to repair) and MTBF(Mean time between failures) Collaborate with production, safety, and engineering teams to support operational goals. Manage maintenance budgets and prepare reports for management review. Oversee facilities maintenance including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and utilities (as applicable). Responsible for the recording of all work undertaken including analysis of trends key parts stock To carry out or organise general repairs/oversee routine property plant maintenance Facilitate / support Lean Manufacturing and operational Excellence implementation Recognised engineering apprenticeship and ONC / HNC (or equivalent) in electrical/mechanical engineering ~ Demonstrable proven experience in a manufacturing environment in both mechanical and electrical maintenance ~Experience doing both total preventative and reactive maintenance ~ Experienced in carrying out Risk Assessments and utilising SSW's. ~ Please apply for immediate consideration Shillito Group is a specialist recruitment and executive search partner, working with ambitious businesses to secure high-impact talent across commercial and engineering markets.
