This is a senior leadership role within a heavy manufacturing environment, responsible for leading departmental operations, driving performance, and managing production teams within a fast-paced operation.

The Role
- Lead and manage day-to-day melting and production operations
- Drive safety, quality, productivity, and manufacturing performance
- Manage, motivate, and develop production teams
- Ensure production targets and operational KPIs are achieved
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives across the department
- Work closely with production, engineering, quality, and planning teams
- Support production scheduling, workflow, and operational planning
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and manufacturing standards
- Manage staffing, training, performance, and team development
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and operational discipline across the department
