Our client specialises in mechanical design, thermal design and fabrication of process plant equipment. We are assisting them in the recruitment of a Draughtsman.

As Draughtsman you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Produce manufacturing drawings in relation to pressure equipment for client and third‑party approval.
  • Provide relevant updates to key stakeholders.
  • Attend internal meetings to provide project updates of manufacturing drawings.
  • Attend client sites and meetings to discuss and agree the project scope, status or other information that may be required.
  • Any and all other responsibilities required to ensure the successful completion of projects/design within the Company.

Desirable Skills

  • Practical experience of producing manufacturing drawings for pressure equipment such as pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
  • Experience with software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor.
  • Must be able to demonstrate capability in the reading and understanding of engineering drawings.
  • Must have an understanding of pressure equipment manufacture such as pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
