Adept are recruiting experienced CNC Professionals for a growing precision engineering business.
This is proper programming, not button pushing. We are supporting a well-invested manufacturer producing complex, tight tolerance components for highly regulated industries. Modern machinery. Clean environment. Long term stability.
The Role
- Programming, setting and optimising: 3, 4 & 5 Axis Milling machines
- Multi-Axis Lathes with live tooling
- Fanuc-controlled machines
You’ll be:
- Creating and editing programmes
- Proving out new jobs
- Selecting tooling and workholding
- Driving cycle time improvements
- Working to demanding tolerances
- Supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor
This is hands-on. You’ll own your work from programme to production.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong Fanuc control experience
- Confident with multi-axis machining (milling or turning)
- Solid understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling and fixturing
- Able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Background in precision engineering environments
