The Role
Big Yellow Door Nursery is looking to welcome a passionate Nursery Nurse to the team ahead of an exciting summer expansion. With a growing waiting list, the nursery is expanding its baby room provision, making this an ideal role for candidates who are confident and experienced working with babies and early years development.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding care and learning opportunities for children, particularly within the baby room
- Work in line with the EYFS framework, supporting all 7 areas of learning
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Maintain exceptional safeguarding standards at all times
- Contribute to a warm, engaging and stimulating environment
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years
- 3 years’ experience within an Early Years setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Paediatric First Aid & Safeguarding Level 2/3
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- A genuine passion for working with children and delivering high standards of care
Desirable:
- Background in medical or nursing care
- Experience supporting children with additional needs
- Experience in baby room settings
