Shillito Group are working with an established manufacturing business in Hull to recruit a Quality Engineer.
This is a hands on quality role, working across production, engineering and supply chain to help maintain standards, investigate issues and improve processes.
The role
- Investigating non conformances and quality issues
- Carrying out root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Maintaining and improving the QMS
- Working with suppliers on quality performance
- Supporting inspections, product verification and new projects
- Helping drive continuous improvement across the business
- What they're looking for
- Previous experience in a Quality role within manufacturing
- Good understanding of ISO 9001
- Experience with audits, non-conformances and root cause analysis
- Comfortable working with engineering and production teams A practical, problem-solving approach Experience within engineering, marine, defence or another regulated manufacturing environment would be useful, but isn't essential.
