Shillito Group are recruiting for a Furnace Charge Operator to join a well established, specialist manufacturing business in Sheffield.
The Role
- Prepare and weigh materials for furnace processing
- Maintain accurate records in line with quality and production standards
- Support furnace operations by ensuring correct charge preparation
- Assist with internal material recovery and processing activities
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a manufacturing, metals, or industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with materials, weights, and processes
- Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- FLT and/or overhead crane experience (desirable)
