Shillito Group are recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator / Setter to join a well established manufacturing business operating a range of Fanuc-controlled CNC machinery. This is a practical shop floor role where you will be responsible for setting and running machines, maintaining quality standards, and keeping production moving. The business is looking for someone reliable, switched on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Programming training can be provided for the right person looking to develop further.
The Role
- Setting and operating CNC machinery
- Working with Fanuc controls
- Producing parts to drawing and quality standards
- Carrying out in-process inspection checks
- Making offsets and minor adjustments where required
- Keeping machines running efficiently and safely
- Working closely with production and engineering teams
- Maintaining housekeeping and quality standards
Shift Pattern
- Alternating days and nights shift pattern.
- Days Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm
- Nights Monday - Thursday 6-6
Pay
- Base rates: 15.44 per hour - Days
- 17.54 per hour - Nights
Salary
- 40,000 - 46,000
Overtime available:
- Weekdays: 1.3x
- Saturdays: 1.5x
- Sundays: 2x
