The Role:

  • Attending breakdowns and diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
  • Carrying out servicing, repairs and planned maintenance
  • Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Working on automated machinery including electrical controls, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Cover reactive call-outs and urgent service level agreements
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, or structural faults on equipment
  • Perform routine safety checks and scheduled servicing on medical lifting aids

Person:

  • Experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Field Engineer
  • Strong fault finding experience across Electrical and Mechanical systems
  • Confident working on breakdowns and solving problems independently
  • Some exposure to PLC fault finding is highly desirable
  • Experience with automated machinery, CNC, robotics or similar equipment
  • Comfortable reading technical drawings and working methodically
