Production Controller
Shillito Group are recruiting for a Production Controller to join a busy manufacturing business specialising in high-performance metals supplied into the Oil & Gas, Energy and Engineering sectors.
You'll be working closely with Operations Management to keep subcontract machining work organised, on schedule and meeting deadlines.
We're looking for someone who understands a manufacturing environment, can manage competing priorities and isn't afraid to get involved.
What you'll be doing:

Managing production schedules and subcontract machining workloads.

Prioritising jobs to ensure production deadlines are met.

Planning ahead to make sure the right resources are available.

Working closely with Operations Management to monitor workloads and performance.

Keeping production moving and identifying potential delays.
What we're looking for:

Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

An understanding of machining would be advantageous.

Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances would be beneficial.

Someone proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Package:
- £30k plus options of overtime
You don't need to be a machining expert, but an understanding of how a busy engineering environment operates would certainly help.
