The Role of the Mechatronics Maintenance Engineer
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding, maintenance, and repair on heavy industrial machinery
- Planned and reactive maintenance across site equipment
- Working on machines built in-house, including commissioning, modifications, and upgrades
- Fault finding on PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Supporting breakdown response to minimise downtime
- Working closely with engineering, build, and production teams
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with regulations
The Ideal Mechatronics Maintenance Engineer
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in machine building - essential
- Strong multi-skilled maintenance background within an industrial or heavy engineering environment
