Our client is a market leader within the Metals Manufacturing industry. As a result of an increased workload, they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their successful business. The role will be shop floor based, carrying out scheduled maintenance and dealing with day-to-day breakdowns and emergencies as and when they occur.
Duties to involve:
- Performing planned maintenance, fixing faults and responding to emergency breakdowns within and outside basic working hours.
- Organising and working with subcontractors.
- Creation of permit to works and carrying out contractor inductions.
- Ensuring repairs are carried out in a timely manner with minimal disruption to production.
- Making sure that Health & Safety policy is followed at all times.
Position is days only Monday to Friday - hours and times to be confirmed. The plans for the future are exciting and challenging and they offer a competitive remuneration package to the right person.
