Our client is a market leader within the Metals Manufacturing industry. As a result of an increased workload, they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their successful business. The role will be shop floor based carrying out scheduled maintenance and dealing with day to day breakdowns and emergencies as and when they occur.
Duties to involve:
- Performing planned maintenance, fixing faults and responding to emergency breakdown within and outside basic working hours.
- Organising and working with subcontractors.
- Creation of permit to works and carrying out contractor inductions.
- Ensuring repairs are carried out in a timely manner with minimal disruption to production.
- Making sure that Health & Safety policy is followed at all times.
Position is days only Monday to Friday - hours and times to be confirmed. The plans for the future are exciting and challenging and they offer a competitive remuneration package to the right person.
