Since its inception, Shiko Group has demonstrated consistent growth and strategic expansion, now operating 8 flagship venues across Manchester and Leeds, including Side Street, Courts Club, The Lawn Club, The Dome, The Stables in Manchester, as well as Fearns and The Canary in Leeds. Committed to delivering unique venues and exceptional experiences, Shiko Group maintains a dedicated Sales and Marketing team of 12 professionals, with plans for further expansion in alignment with upcoming venue launches.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Executive to join our 12-strong Sales and Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple unique brands, collaborating closely with both our marketing department and our venue teams to bring our distinctive spaces to life. As a Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in supporting and rolling out marketing activity that drives awareness, engagement and bookings across our growing portfolio of venues in Manchester and Leeds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns and activations across multiple channels (Email, Print, Social, Digital etc)
  • Implement promotional strategies and seasonal activations that drive bookings, footfall and revenue
  • Coordinate campaign timelines and deliverables across all Shiko venues/brands
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular updates on key metrics
  • Support the marketing team with content creation, copywriting and creative briefs for campaigns and activations
  • Communicate campaigns, activations and offers regularly with external agencies, key contacts and stakeholders

Digital Marketing & Performance

  • Support the Social Media Executive with content creation across multiple brands
  • Manage website content updates and implement SEO initiatives
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns and CRM management
  • Monitor digital trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
  • Tracking and analysis of our digital marketing channels, providing data-driven recommendations for optimisation
  • Work closely with venue teams to understand local market dynamics and specific marketing needs
  • Support venue teams with promotional materials, ensuring brand compliance and quality standards
  • Gather customer insights and feedback from venue teams to inform marketing strategies and campaign development

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience in digital marketing, including email marketing and content creation
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across teams and venues
  • Organised and proactive approach to work with strong time management skills
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and creating memorable experiences
  • Experience in hospitality, leisure, or events marketing
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Airship etc.)
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and social media insights
  • Experience working across multiple brands or locations
