We're hiring a Roblox Gameplay Engineer to join a team building games that real communities show up for every day. If you've ever shipped something on Roblox and watched players actually live in it - joining servers, posting clips, asking for more - you already understand what we're trying to do. We're looking for engineers who genuinely love the platform, know its quirks, and want to push what's possible inside it.

What you'll be doing

  • Building and integrating gameplay features in Roblox Studio using Luau
  • Translating designer intent into systems that hold up under live conditions
  • Setting up and configuring in-game assets, interactions, and core loops
  • Profiling, debugging, and squeezing performance out of existing content
  • Iterating on live features based on what players are actually doing
  • Working with artists and other engineers to keep quality high across the board

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years building on Roblox with Luau
  • Solid grasp of Roblox physics, UI systems, and how the platform actually behaves under load
  • Comfort with datastores, leaderboards, gamepasses, and the usual live-service plumbing
