Class 2 Temp2perm in Humber

Job Description

At ShiftHero Bradford, we are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers to work for one of our value client in the Bradford area. Due to expansion we are looking for reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our growing team. This role is temp to perm opportunity for right candidate. Interviews will take place next week.

The Role.

• Driver will be responsible for safely transporting glass products to customers and sites,
• Physical ability to assist with some manual handling tasks when required, following safe lifting practices.
• One or two nights out ( tramping) per week when required in this role,
• Ensure safe loading, securing, and unloading of materials,
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery records,
• Provide excellent customer service while representing company.
• lorry mounted forklift trucks experience will be advantageous , but full training will be provided
• The driver will also support warehouse and loading activities as needed to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.

Qualifications & Experience.

• A valid Class 2 (C) licence entitlement
• Valid CPC & Digital Tacho
• 2 years of experience
• Good understanding of drivers hours rules and regulations.
• No more than 6 points (or major endorsements).

Pay & Benefits.

Standard Hourly Rate: £14.46

Advanced Hourly Rate £16.21 (includes holiday pay)

Overnight allowance included
