At ShiftHero Wakefield, we are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers to work on one of our valued clients in the Wakefield area. Due to the expansion of our prestigious client, we are looking for reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our growing team.
- Transport office supplies to businesses
- Earlier start at 4 am
- Ensure safe loading, securing, and unloading of materials
- Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the company
Qualifications & Experience:
- A valid Class 2 (C) licence entitlement
- Valid CPC & Digital Tacho
- Good understanding of drivers' hours rules and regulations
- New passes welcome
Pay & Benefits:
- This is a long-term ongoing job with the potential of a permanent position
- Standard Hourly Rate: £13.25
- Advanced Hourly Rate: £14.85 (includes holiday pay)
- Overtime pay after 9h (£17.66 - £19.79 - advance)
- Upon qualifying, you will have access to a workplace pension and any benefits on offer
