Responsibilities as a HGV Driver:
- Transport and deliver goods- 1 to 2 jobs per day with occasional overnight stays (expenses paid)
- Load and unload lorry alongside Porter
- Maintain high standard of H&S whilst on and off site
- Assist with packing and unpacking of goods
- Assemble commercial goods such as flat pack furniture on commercial sites
- Provide great customer service
- Complete relevant paperwork while onsite
- Complete daily vehicle checks
What you need:
- A valid UK driving licence that covers up to and including 18t vehicles. Other licences are desirable
- Experience driving 3.5t / 7.5t / 18t
- A genuine passion for completing work in a safe, timely and professional manner
- Confident to work on own initiative when needed
- Highly professional in all situations as you will be the face of our company
- A positive attitude is essential
- Ability to start work at 6am from the Depot
