Overview of the role as Driver:
Bespoke Moving Solutions is seeking a reliable and flexible Driver to join our expert removals team. This role is ideal for someone looking for varied and flexible working hours, including weekdays and weekends. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities as a Driver:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport household and commercial goods.
- Assist with loading and unloading furniture and other items, ensuring their safe handling.
- Wrap, pack, and protect furniture and belongings before loading and unloading.
- Plan routes effectively to meet schedules and customer expectations.
- Conduct pre and post trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Communicate professionally with clients, ensuring a positive experience.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
Experience needed to be successful in the role as a Driver:
- A valid UK driving licence (Category B essential, Category C/C1 preferred).
- Good physical fitness, as heavy lifting and manual handling are required.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly attitude.
- Ability to work flexibly, including availability on weekdays and weekends.
- Basic navigation skills and knowledge of local and national routes (preferred but not essential).
- Previous experience in removals, delivery driving, or a similar role (preferred but not essential).
