Junior Network Engineer / 2nd Line Technical Support –
Do you have experience with :
- Routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
- Cisco/Huawei command line
- BGP, VLANs, MPLS, IPv4/IPv6
- ITIL & Microsoft products
Key responsibility –
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting – Provide second-line technical support for network, server, and desktop-related issues, ensuring timely resolution within SLA agreements.
- Incident Management – Act as an escalation point for unresolved first-line support cases, managing and resolving complex network issues.
- Root Cause Analysis – Identify and analyze network problems, proposing solutions and collaborating with the Network Management Team to prevent future incidents.
- Supplier & Partner Liaison – Raise and manage cases with suppliers for network-related faults and maintain communication until resolution.
- Knowledge Sharing & Documentation – Create and maintain technical guides, training materials, and knowledge base articles to support ongoing learning and process improvements.
- Network & System Maintenance – Perform planned upgrades, configuration changes, and improvements to network infrastructure.
- Customer Communication – Ensure clear and professional communication with customers regarding incident escalations, resolutions, and technical support updates.
- Collaboration & Teamwork – Work closely with first-line, third-line, and network operations teams to ensure seamless support and issue resolution.
