If you’re looking for a new challenge, working with some of the biggest cycling brands in the world and developing your career in PR and Social, this is for you! We’re looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic PR & Social Media Executive to join our team.
As part of our growing PR department, you will support across all aspects of activation from product launches and international media events to content writing and campaign reporting. As a digital native well versed in the social channels, you’ll be pitching innovative stories to journalists whilst developing creative content ideas to engage social media audiences when required.
You will report into both the PR Manager and Social Media Manager with support from the team and wider agency, with lots of opportunities to develop your own particular skills and interests. We’re always open to new ideas, taking risks and going after rewarding challenges; and we look to nurture this attitude in our junior recruits.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting across all aspects of PR & Social Media execution
- Building and maintaining strong global media relationships
- Writing press releases, media pitches and other editorial content
- Proactively creating and pitching story angles to media
- Developing content ideas for social media campaigns, optimised for relevant channels
- Supporting with Social Media campaign development, community management and reporting
- Sourcing and monitoring of influencers/ambassadors
- Over time, building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Coverage collation and reporting, managing product and interview requests, event support and database management
The Candidate
You’ll have some experience of working in a PR and / or Social Media role either within an agency or in-house (even if just from an internship). You’ll be a strong writer and confident communicator with the ability to develop close professional relationships with clients, colleagues and journalists.
With a ‘digital-first’ mindset, you are ambitious and proactive with excellent organisational skills, and you relish the opportunity to work in a fast-growing, dynamic, sporty agency environment. Graduates with relevant experience are invited to apply.
An interest in cycling is highly desirable and a knowledge of the industry is advantageous, regardless of cycling level and ability.
