Join Shield Safety and help create safer environments. We are looking for a qualified Fire Risk Assessor to join our growing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected consultancy where your expertise will directly contribute to protecting people, property, and businesses.
The Role
- Deliver Fire Risk Assessments across your assigned geographical area in line with agreed SLAs
- Provide clear and practical fire safety advice to clients and stakeholders
- Support clients with technical queries and fire safety incidents
- Work closely with internal teams including QA, Sales, and Service Coordinators
- Ensure FRA reports are completed accurately and within agreed KPIs
- Assist with QA processes, appeals, and escalations where required
- Contribute to planning and service delivery improvements
- Deliver additional services such as training, occupancy reviews, and means of escape assessments
- Support apprenticeship training and ongoing team development
- Maintain professional standards, accreditation, and continuous development
About You
- IFE, IFSM, or IFPO accreditation
- Level 3 qualification in Fire Risk Assessment or Fire Safety Management
- Experience in a consultancy environment or within the Fire Service
- Strong communication skills and a client focused approach
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
- Professional and organised with high attention to detail
- Experience in FRA QA or validation is desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
